Student Activities


CAREER AND TECHNICAL STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS (CTSO) provide opportunities for students to develop and enhance the skills they will need to be successful in their future career and leadership endeavors. Organized educational activities promoting personal leadership and career enhancement opportunities are integrated into technical education programs.

Students at GMTCC are encouraged to participate in NTHS (National Technical Honor Society), SkillsUSA, FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America), and National FFA (Future Farmers of America) Organization.  These student organizations are a nationally recognized leadership and skills performance teams in which students, teachers and industry professionals work collaboratively to ensure the acquisition of a highly skilled workforce.   These student organizations partner with Career and Technical Education (CTE) centers to provide rigorous and relevant educational programs, events and competitions across the nation.  Competitive award placements, cash prizes, and college scholarships may be earned.
